Hobbies and Interests
My favourite interest/hobby is watching my young grandchildren grow up. Other than that...........
I have several hobbies. I regularly go to the gym and keep relatively fit for my age and still have an occasional game of football as well as watching far to much of it (as some may say), especially my beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
I love to travel and can't bare it when I haven't got a trip booked. I've been lucky enough to have been to some fantastic places, and still have many more on my list.
Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was at school and I was lucky enough to work in the industry for nearly 11 years. I say lucky, because what can be better than doing your hobby as a job? As Confucius says "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."!!! I can tell you some days were very hard work, it just doesn't quite feel the same when you enjoy it.
I have so many interests it's going to take sometime for me to write about them all.
I'm like a sponge and enjoy soaking up all sorts of information. I
would say I'm a very social person and I get involved in all sorts of
conversations.
I love learning while conversing, but also feel it very important to
have some logic to back up any opinions I may have while in conversation.
This helps drive me to keep learning new things. I also enjoy quizzes
and these require knowledge on a wide range of subjects, and you can
never know enough in my book, and in the grand scheme of things, most
of us know very little.
They say Knowledge is power, I'm not sure that's the correct word to use, but I believe it can certainly help in many aspects of life
